4015 DC-R-HSK63 – the fast motor spindle
When it comes to maximum precision, there’s normally no getting around high speeds. With our successful basic model of type 4015 DC, we have already established an extremely capable high-frequency motor spindle on the market. But precision on its own isn’t everything. In practice, it is above all a fast, smooth tool change that is playing an ever more important role. SycoTec has responded to these requirements. The new 4015 DC-R-HSK63 has a standardised HSK-63 tool holder for high stiffness, concentricity and run-out. That means even faster tool changes with no loss of precision. Adapters for further standard tools are optionally available. Speeds from 5,000 to 80,000 rpm and short periods of even up to 100,000 rpm ensure shorter machining and job times. Then there are presettable tool geometries and the fully automatic changing of the high-frequency motor spindle. The result – fewer downtimes for an increase in productivity. In brief: maximum performance with maximum precision.
4040 DC-S-CaptoC6 – the strong motor spindle
In principle, a machine tool works like a modern thriller. At its heart are the exciting action scenes (i.e. the workpiece machining), which are occasionally interrupted for the introduction of new scenes (i.e. the tool change). For such a worthy performance, we have provided the successful type 4040 DC motor spindle with a Capto C6 interface. Adapters for all other popular tool holders are optionally available. This makes the 4040 DC-S-CaptoC6 superbly equipped to achieve high-quality surface finishes at speeds of up to 50,000 rpm and a high torque of up to 17 Ncm. For an impressive combination of high precision and outstanding efficiency.
4040 DC-S-ER-DD – the cool motor spindle
When drills and milling tools running at tens of thousands of revolutions per second meet hard materials, things quickly get hot. Both the workpiece and the tool expand. And not only the machining speed but also the precision suffer. In order to find a remedy for this, especially in gun drilling, we have developed the 4040 DC-S-ER-DD as an internally cooled motor spindle. Designing the rotary feed-through was especially complicated. The objective here was to combine mobility and resistance with the high coolant pressure of 80 bar. The result is plain to see: the new 4040 DC-S-ER-DD impresses with outstanding cutting performance while remaining completely cool.
