INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC (M,F,D)
YOUR TASKS
Industrial mechanics manufacture equipment parts and assemblies for machines and production plants, set them up or convert them. They monitor and optimize production processes and take on repair and maintenance tasks.
Training duration: 3.5 years
Professional school: Geschwister-Scholl-Schule Leutkirch
Lessons: weekly (1.5 days)
Contents of the vocational training:
- Plan and prepare work tasks in a team
- Manufacture components using production techniques (e.g. turning, milling, grinding…)
- Maintain and/or repair machines
- Carry out quality controls

ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN FOR MECHANICAL AND DRIVE ENGINEERING (M,F,D)
REQUIREMENT
Completion of the vocational school for electrical engineering (We offer an internship for the attendance of the vocational school).
YOUR TASKS
Electronics technicians for machine and drive technology manufacture windings, assemble electrical machine and drive systems, commission them and maintain them. Typical fields of application are manufacturing and production plants, service areas and test fields.
Training duration: 3.5 years

CONSTRUCTION MECHANIC (M,F,D) SPECIALIZING IN SHEET METAL CONSTRUCTION
YOUR TASKS
Construction mechanics specializing in sheet metal construction manufacture products from sheet metal and steel. They record customer orders and initiate their implementation. You plan your tasks on the basis of technical documents and manufacture components, assemblies and metal constructions from sheet metal, pipes or profiles.
Training duration: 3.5 years

As an IT specialist for application development, you will find your challenge in the departments of information technology and digitalization, especially in complex software systems. You will be a competent contact person for IT issues and plan new or modified software solutions.

Contents of the vocational training:
- Deriving program specifications, data models and structures from technical requirements
- Developing and adapting programs
- Developing software for measuring, regulating, analyzing and controlling industrial systems
- ERP systems such as SAP
- Development of interfaces
- Database development in Microsoft SQL
- Work organization and work techniques

- Good secondary school leaving certificate or general higher education entrance qualification
- Confident written and spoken communication skills (German/English)

YOUR TASKS
As an IT specialist for system integration, you will find your challenge in the departments of information technology and digitalization, in particular hardware and software systems. You will be a competent contact person for IT issues and plan new or modified information technology systems.
Duration of training: 3 Years

Lessons: weekly (1.5 days)
Contents of the vocational training:
- Get to know application software and its hardware and system requirements in operation
- Get to know network architectures and operating systems
- Define program specifications
- Derive data models and structures from business requirements
- Create programs or adapt interfaces to programs, in particular to the operating system
- Managing the software configuration
- Developing interface concepts
- Getting to know the training company, legal form, vocational training, labor and collective bargaining law
