Design engineer (m/f/d) for HF motor spindles (mechatronic systems)

To support our research and development team we are looking for

Design engineer (m/f/d) for HF motor spindles (mechatronic systems)

Your task

  • Responsibility for new solutions, from the idea to the prototype to release in series production
  • Carrying out design or development tasks and creating concepts for drive solutions within the machine tool
  • Mechanical and mechatronic design according to internal requirementsg
  • Acceptance of the calculation for dimensioning the parts and assemblies to be designed (e.g. strength, rigidity, forces, etc.)
  • Co-development of new technologies
Your qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering / mechatronics or comparable field of study. Ideally, you should also have completed vocational training (industrial mechanic (m/f/d), CNC lathe operator (m/f/d)).
  • Experience in using 3D design software, preferably Catia V5
  • Independent, autonomous and goal-oriented way of working
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Ideally experience with electric/battery-powered drives, knowledge of tool systems
