For the start of training on September 1, 2024, we offer apprenticeships as:
Industrial mechanic (m/f/d)
Industrial mechanics manufacture equipment parts and assemblies for machines and production plants, set them up or convert them. They monitor and optimize production processes and take on repair and maintenance tasks.
Training duration: 3.5 years
Professional school: Geschwister-Scholl-Schule Leutkirch
Lessons: weekly (1.5 days)
Contents of the vocational training:
• Plan and prepare work tasks in a team
• Produce components using manufacturing techniques (e.g. turning, milling, grinding…)
• Maintain and/or repair machines
• Perform quality controls
Entry requirements
• Good secondary school diploma
• Vocational school for metal technology
• Secondary School Certificate
Requirements general
• Mathematical knowledge
• Manual skills
• Diligence and sense of responsibility (e.g. when operating machine tools)
