SycoTec acquires shares in British company
LEUTKIRCH (sz) – According to a company statement, SycoTec is now also well equipped in the field of drive control. The Leutkirch-based company has acquired shares in its strategic development partner and electronics supplier Zikodrive, based near Manchester, UK. This is a logical step for the manufacturer of high-precision electric drives, as it closes a major gap in the company’s previous product portfolio: In addition to its own expertise in mechanical design and electro-technical motor design, SycoTec will in future be able to exert a direct influence on developments in the field of electronic drive control and power electronics as well as their system integration on a hardware and software basis.
