Actually, the name says it all. High-frequency motor spindles, with their high rotary speeds, ensure the fast, balanced machining of workpieces. They deliver enough power and torque to complete sophisticated tasks with precision and reliability. However, powered tools for machining centres are usually offered only for low-speed applications. With the new high-frequency motor spindle 4033 DC-T from SycoTec, an extremely interesting alternative is now available. While the design and function (e.g. taper cleaning, collet stop, etc.) are the same as the proven SycoTec spindle 4033 AC, the motor element has been redeveloped using DC technology.
With a wide speed range from 5,000 to 60,000 rpm, the new model is correspondingly versatile. In the low and medium speed range from 20,000 – 50,000 rpm, the motor spindle 4033 DC-T impresses with twice the power of its sister models, the SycoTec high-runner type 4033 AC and the 4033 DC. Together with the large torque (S1: 16.8 Ncm; max.: 19.0 Ncm), it is therefore ideally suited for use in machining centres. And the top end of the speed range means that the CAD/CAM machining of the hardest materials, such as hardened zirconium or titanium, is no problem either.
