We have not just improved these spindles in one area. Instead, they now offer three-fold advantages. That is because the SycoTec spindle Type 4064 DC-HSK25 is now more powerful, larger and more flexible. The high-frequency motor spindle offers outstanding performance as our largest motor spindle as well as our most powerful spindle with up to 3,800 W. This means that even extremely hard and tough materials such as ceramics or high-alloy steels can be machined with extreme precision.
The standard HSK25 clamping system guarantees particularly fast and flexible machining operations. The hollow shank taper used for the tool holder is significantly smaller and lighter than a steep angle taper. This permits easier and faster tool changes. This results in increased change and positioning accuracy, which in turn increases productivity.
Since temperatures soon rise with such power and at high rotational speeds, for the first time we have equipped our HF motor spindle with internal cooling. Water cooling in the clamping block is no longer necessary thanks to the integrated cooling circuit. The compact-design 4064 DC-HSK25 can therefore stay “cool” for longer and guarantees optimum service life.
